Citrex Liquid. Use in Swine.

DRINKING WATER

1. Application during stress periods. It can be use during the following management practices: before changing diets, three days before and after any relocation of the animals, before and after vaccinations (live and attenuated), etc.

Dose: 200 ppm

2. Salmonellosis prevention. Use in pigs showing the infection (bacterial isolation in feces) or in a preventive manner.

Preventive dose: 100 ppm continuously

Dose in infected pigs: 200 ppm for a minimum of 21 days

3. Control of unspecific diarrheas. Use in pigs showing diarrhea associated with Escherichia coli and other bacteria during rearing and reproductive periods.

Dose: 200-300  ppm

NEBULIZATION

1. Respiratory problems APP, PRRS y PMWS (circovirus). Apply with a knapsack sprayer daily. Use 1 liter of Citrex solution for every 50 to 60 pigs and 1 liter for every 5 sows or for every 10 sows in areas with high relative humidity.
Dose: 1000 ppm

DISINFECTION

1. Maternity. Spray the facilities, including the equipment 6 to 12 hours before housing the sows.

Dose: 600 ppm

2. Sows.

Bathe or spray them before farrowing. Dose: 600 ppm

Disinfect vulva and teats after farrowing. Dose: 1000 ppm

3. Nursery. Spray the facilities, including the equipment 6 to 12 hours before housing the piglets.

Dose: 600 ppm

4. Water used in the showers for personnel disinfection.

Dose: 200 ppm
